Rok 2016 na zdjęciach

Początek roku to często czas wszelkich rozstrzygnięć, ocen i podsumowań. Ja szczególnie lubię podsumowania w formie fotograficznej. Oczywiście nie sposób stworzyć obiektywną listę najlepszych zdjęć minionego roku, jednak przeglądając od rana różne rankingi i zestawienia (m.in. najważniejsze zdjęcia 2016 agencji prasowej Reuters, cz najlepsze zdjęcia National Geographic) zapisałem sobie kilka, bez podziału na kategorie, którymi chcę się podzielić. Niektóre zabawne, inne wzruszające lub smutne, dające do myślenia. Ale nawet dzięki tym niekoniecznie radosnym historiom, możemy wyciągnąć dla siebie coś pozytywnego - ot choćby to, jak wiele mamy i, że warto to doceniać.

 Colima Volcano in Mexico shows a powerful night explosion with lightning and some incandescent rockfalls. Photo taken on December 13, 12.5 kilometers away from the crater near a lagoon named Carrizalillos on Comala Municipality. This particular bolt of lightning is more than 600 meters tall, lighting details of the south portion of volcano in this 8 second exposure.

North Korea: Life in the Cult of Kim.” North Korean children perform at the Pyongyang Kyongsang Kindergarten. North Korea has been one of the most isolated and least understood countries. Few outsiders have ever had a glimpse of the country and there have been very few independent photographs ever made there. This series documents urban and rural North Korea, capturing the daily life of its citizens, military events and ceremonies.
